Amazing Adventures

Why Alaska?

Alaska is such a magical place to see the Aurora Borealis. We would love to invite you to join us in Fairbanks in January. It's so vast. And the Northern Lights are a powerful metaphor for life. By getting the atoms around you all stirred up, everything that you want begins to gravitate towards you. You create colorful light and magnify a beautiful, radiant field that shines out. That's why we're going...so we can magnetize this energy to stay in the Divine flow always.

Have you ever soaked in a hot spring?  People have been enjoying them for centuries. While some may come to experience the mineral-rich, thermal waters for relaxation, many voyage here in search of healing. The Chena Hot Springs Resort Moose Lodge is well known for their healing waters and attract visitors searching for the eternal fountain of youth, or cures for whatever ails them. Many say skin conditions such as psoriasis, muscular pains and arthritis can be relieved by bathing in the spring water, as well as circulatory and bronchial disorders.

"One of the most enjoyable things for me during this last trip was getting to witness the Northern Lights dancing for us."

Wildlife Watching

As you explore the North Pole, Fairbanks, Chena Hot Springs and the Arctic Circle with us on this exciting Alaskan adventure, you'll likely be visited by Dali sheep, mountain goats, bears, ox, lynx, eagles, moose, caribou, elk, bison, foxes and more. How cool is that!

"My favorite part was flying over Alaska in a propeller plane because I could see the moose and everything around so clearly. I also enjoyed watching Joeaux's hair freeze in the Hot Springs!"

As a guest of the Borealis Basecamp for two nights, you'll get to stay in a fiberglass dome similar to those utilized by polar expeditions and research stations. Your unique accommodations were crafted exclusively to maximize your comfort while Aurora viewing. Clear, curved windows stretch 16 feet across each dome roof, allowing you to lie in bed and view the dancing Northern Lights and outdoor scenery, without leaving your cozy nest. You'll enjoy such harmony with nature in these intimate retreats set in the wilderness.

Alaska Northern Lights Tour

  Aurora Borealis   January 21-28, 2020

Arctic Circle Flight

Also included in our Adironnda Alaskan Adventure is a scenic 1-hour flight over the Arctic Circle. We'll fly over the Alaska wilderness and explore the small community of Coldfoot from new heights. This will be an incredible chance to absorb the natural beauty around you, see the exotic wildlife, and snap memorable photos of spectacular Arctic Circle views from the absolute best vantage point. While most people come just to see the Northern Lights, we have a feeling that this fly over may end up being one of your favorite parts of the week!

Love winter sports?  We do too! That's why a scenic snowmobiling tour has been included to enjoy during our trip. Exploring the area by snowmobile (or snowmachine, as they say in Alaska) is exhilarating fun, especially when it's set against a backdrop of quiet and mysterious beauty. We'll speed over blankets of snow, make our way past frozen rivers, maybe even find hidden ice caves, or visit some gorgeous glaciers. We're going to have so much fun together 'snowmachining' around Fairbanks!
